Peru Primary School Community gives from the heart

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and Peru Central Primary School students and staff had a unique way of celebrating the holiday. For every five items that a classroom donated, a small red heart was placed inside a larger heart. Students could count by 5′s each day to see how many items had been collected. When the hearts were counted today almost 700 items were ready for delivery to the Peru JCEO Foodshelf. Congratulations to the Peru Primary students and staff and everyone who donated to this wonderful program!
