Peru voters approve budget!

Peru voters approved the 2010-11 fiscal year Peru Central School budget today by a vote of 617 to 481. Proposition #2 to authorize purchase of three new school buses was also approved by a vote of 547 to 535. The incumbent candidates for school board ran unopposed. Jon Ruff garnered 825 votes. Cynthia Mills received 804 votes. School Superintendent A. Paul Scott said this year’s voter turnout was slightly less than normal.
