Congressman Bill Owens Telephone Town Hall

From the Office of Congressman Bill Owens

WASHINGTON—Representative Bill Owens will hold a telephone town hall on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in a continued effort to hear from constituents across the more than 16,000 square miles of New York’s 21st Congressional District. Representative Owens will give a quick update on the economy and his recent activities in the district during the November district work period. The event will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. this Tuesday evening.

“The most important thing I can do as a Member of Congress is listen to my constituents’ concerns and ideas,” Representative Owens said. “Telephone town halls are a great way to connect constituents from our expansive district and give them a chance to ask questions and voice their opinions. I look forward to speaking with all in attendance and encourage all who are able to participate.”

A random sample of residents in New York’s 21st Congressional District will receive an invitation by telephone to participate in the conference call on Tuesday. All constituents of the 21st District can request to participate in the town hall by: Emailing their name and complete phone number to ny21townhall@mail.house.gov; Calling the Congressman’s Washington office at 202-225-4611; or
· Filling out the form provided at http://owens.house.gov/Contact/TeletownHall.htm.

Those unable to participate in the telephone town hall can send their questions or concerns to Congressman Owens by calling any of his offices in New York or Washington or by visiting his website at http://owens.house.gov.
