New York scores $147M as part of Volkswagen settlements – Capitol Confidential

New York owners of 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder engine Volkswagen and Audi diesel cars also will be able to have their vehicles bought back by the company for the full, pre-scandal fair market value and will receive cash payments of at least $5,100. Alternately, owners can choose to keep their vehicle, wait to see if Volkswagen and Audi develop emissions fixes and still receive a payment of at least $5,100.
