Summer is fast approaching and the library is preparing for our busiest time of the year, family programs, children’s art classes and lots and lots of summer reading! Build a Better World is our summer reading theme this year and will also play a part in our Art Camp. Something about a backyard labyrinth….

Summer Programs
Magic, music, storytelling and live theater are all part of our Summer Family Programs this year. Tuesday afternoons in July (11,18, and 25) at 2:30 pm. All welcome.
Art Camp with Mr. Badger
Once again Mr. Badger will be teaching fun, imaginative and instructive art classes at the library this summer. Weeks of July 11, 18 and 25. Sign up for Morning (10:30-noon) or Afternoon (1:00 -2:30) weekly sessions. Ages 5 and up. Class size limited. Sign up at the library.

Nicci, who mulched and trimmed our gardens. Pat for replacing our screens.
Rocky and Don for giving our entry way a face lift with new paint and carpet. And Evelyn, who organized our toy bins while her grandchild was enjoying our Children’s Room. Thank you all for keeping our library tidy and lovely.
Library Book Group
Our book for June is the international bestseller A Man Called Ove. “If there was an award for ‘Most Charming Book of the Year’ this first novel would win hands down.” BOOKLIST (starred review)
Our meeting this month will be on the third Thursday, June 22 at 1pm.
Please note : this will be our last meeting until September.
