Bridge Construction Progressing

Jarvis Road Bridge at about noon today. Bridge decking is being installed. Concrete should be poured on August 16th; it cures for 14 days then asphalt is laid down. Depending on the weather, the bridge should be complete by September 15th.

Portion of Mannix Rd. Closed Tuesday, Not Monday as Originally Planned

Bridge Progress Continues

Jarvis Road Bridge’s prestressed concrete beams are being installed today. The four 70 ft. beams each weigh 74,000 pounds. The cement encloses several steel rods. Thanks to the Peru Gazette reader who let us know about the presence of the huge crane.
