Coats for Peru’s Kids

PERU – On November 19th, St. Augustine’s Knights of Columbus Council 7273 Deputy Grand Knight Dwane Bast and Coats For Kids Chairman John Ryan presented twenty-four new boys and girls winter jackets to Peru Elementary Principal Matt Slattery and School Nurse Nicole Powers. The Knights of Columbus launched the Coats for Kids Program during the 2009 recession. Since then approximately 2,000 Knights of Columbus councils in the United States and Canada have distributed more than 167,000 coats to children in need.
