Hey what a great website! It certainly makes me miss home! I will check back frequently. The photos of Halloween are fantastic, of course, since it is my brother! Love ya Bill, great job!

John, we met for the first time at Chazy Lake Saturday evening. We wanted to give your site a try. It looks fantastic and certainly will keep it as a local reading source. Good news/information is hard to find. Great job.

John.

I stumbled upon the site today and could not believe that you were doing this for our little town. I think this is great for Peru and its residents.

Thank you,

Curtiss Hemm

Is it possible to print local Obituaries? Out of towners may like to know about old friends. I have missed a few in the past but I always catch up on the Gazette!

Very interested in seeing the news article on the fire which occurred downtown in June of 1967. The fire took down the Grand Union, pharmacy and Bar and Grill. How can I access the article?

I just heard about this site and I’m happy it’s here. Although I haven’t accessed all the articles, I think I’ll really enjoy reading them. This reminds me somewhat of my old hometown newspaper the “Essex County Republican” from Keeseville. Thanks!

Hello! Have you ever published an article/interview with any of the Jamaicans who work in our orchards? I volunteer at Roger’s House and enjoy interacting with some that come in, looking for treasures to share with their families back home. I know that some have been coming here for decades. Everybody has a story. 🙂 Even though I’m not originally from this area, I consider it home, as I’ve been here for 20+ years. I always enjoy reading your articles on facebook– thanks for all you do for the community!

I noticed a dumping of old tires into the Little AuSable River at the Davern Rd. bridge just before it meets the River Rd. in Peru. How do I contact DEC?

Hi Ron,

Just scroll down on the website; There are about 10,000 posts so you can go back to 2008. You can use the search feature in the top right. The categories on the right side also direct people to specific subjects. Thanks for the good words. John Ryan

This is a labor of love, for sure, John. Keep up the great work. I see opinions and editorials are mixed in with articles. I would label them as such. Having spent my career in news field, I am not ready to do such hard but rewarding work again at this time but I sure admire you! It’s a great service!
