Web Marketing “Boot Camp” Starts January 13 in Canton, Malone, Moriah and Watertown

Selling – and buying – online is hot this holiday season. North Country entrepreneurs can learn how to be profitable with online sales year’round by registering for the Marketing Your Product for Profit course that begins January 13 in Canton, Malone, Moriah and Watertown.

The 14-week, $65 training, made possible by the Northern Adirondack Trading Cooperative in partnership with the PathStone Enterprise Center, the St. Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, Cornell Cooperative Extension, SUNY Canton and BOCES, will be held every Thursday 6-9pm starting January 13. Course sites are SUNY Canton in St. Lawrence County and BOCES in Franklin County at Malone, in Essex County at Moriah, and in Jefferson County at Watertown.

The course will cover website development, search engine optimization, internet marketing, social media, the top 6 internet marketing mistakes and how to fix them, results tracking, and developing a marketing plan.

Instruction includes how to identify buyers and when those buyers want to purchase your product.

Course organizer Ruby Sprowls, director of the Northern Adirondack Trading Cooperative, says, “The lifeblood of any business is being able to generate highly-targeted, consistent customers for your products or services.”
