McDonald, Bruno, Keenan win big
The votes in the Town of Peru and here are the unofficial vote total not counting absentee, write-in and a few ballots from newly registered voters.
For the two open Town Council positions these are the vote totals:
Brandy McDonald 777
Kregg Bruno 740
Geoffrey Spear 604
In the race for County Legislator of Area 5 (Peru only constitutes 1/3 of Area 5. The remainder is in the Town of Schuyler Falls):
Peter Keenan 282
Sherm Hamel 151
Updated 11:15 p.m. The Press Republican has reported that Peter Keenan won election with 736 votes to Sherm Hamel’s 571.
For Supreme Court Justice:
John Lahtinen 826
Ann Crowell 771
Robert Chauvin 723
