Peru Lions to host the 35th annual John Adams Turkey Trot
The Peru Lions Club will be hosting its 35th annual John P. Adams Memorial Turkey Trot on November 22nd, 2012 Thanksgiving Day.
Pre-register by going to perulionsclubnewyork.org and click on “Register for Events”. Select Turkey Trot and chose one of the two registration/payment options. Pre-registrants for the 5 & 10K events will receive a free gift.
Same day registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Peru Intermediate School Gym. To ensure a 9:00 start, registration will end at 8:15. The 1 mile fun run/walk begins at 8:45 a.m. and the 5 & 10K races start at 9:00 sharp. Entry fee for the 5 & 10K events is $15, if you pre- register before Monday 11/19 the last day of online registration. After 11/19, the fee goes up to $20. The 1 mile fun run/walk fee is $5.
Pre-registrants can pick up your bib # on 11/21/12 from 4 – 7pm @ the Peru Intermediate School Gym. Trophies are awarded to male and female winners of the 5 & 10K races.
