David Davis Benefit event. 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Peru Community Church, Activity Hall. $6 for lunch/dinner. Event features 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, children’s face-painting. David Davis was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and is being treated at Brigham’s Women’s Hospital in Boston. He is retired from the U.S. Air Force and is a security supervisor at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Rouses Point.
