WASHINGTON—Congressman Bill Owens will hold a telephone town hall this Thursday, December 12, 2013, to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act. A representative from New York State of Health, New York’s state-run health insurance marketplace, will join him to answer questions related to the state’s rollout of the Affordable Care Act. The event will occur from 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening.

“One of the most important things I can do is connect my constituents to factual information about federal policy that directly affects them,” Representative Bill Owens said.  “New York State has been a model for successful implementation of the insurance marketplace under the health care law, and I look forward to teaming with the state to answer questions and receive feedback from my constituents about the new options available to them.”

A random sample of residents of the 21^st Congressional District will receive an invitation by telephone to participate in the call. Those constituents who are not randomly selected and wish to participate in the call can sign-up by:
