Buffalo’s Business First magazine computed the median classroom teacher pay for 451 Upstate New York school districts. Peru Central ranks 221st overall and in the lower third of regional schools. Click here to view the entire Upstate New York ranking
A median is a midpoint, with half of the teachers in a given district being paid more than the median, and half being paid less.
