Hail Storm Hits Parts of Peru This PM
Oakdale Dr. Peru. The hail lasted about 5 minutes. Received over an inch of rain in just over 40 minutes. The Gazette spoke to Seth Forrence at 2:15. He fears that he’s lost 225 acres of apples. He said, “Some of the apples look like they’ve been through a meat grinder.” He said his father Mason hasn’t seen a storm like this in over 45 years. The Route 22 Forrence Orchard was not impacted.
