Attention Peru Water District Customers
On July 8TH the Water Department will be completing repairs to the water system which will require us to shut part of the system down. Water to all customers south of the Route 22 Little Ausable bridge will be shut off at 11 p.m. on Monday July 8th and could remain off for 3-4 hours. Customers can expect no water during this shut down and experience low pressure, air or stirred up water when system is recharged.
Due to the reduced pressure in the system a boil water order has to be issued until proper sampling confirms water is safe for consumption.
