Peru Experiences Wide-Spread Power Outage
This was the scene on Bear Swamp Rd. at about 10:30 this morning. Several businesses closed or almost closed because of lost electrical power. Power was lost at about 8 a.m. for some with outages continuing for the next three hours. Power was restored for some users at about 11 a.m. NYSEG is virtually impossible to contact to determine the exact outages and times. Its outage map did not indicate any outages.
