One more reason to leave NY! I paid School taxes without having children for the past 42 years… At 68 years old I will no longer pay school tax… I paid my dues and Florida is looking better and better!

I own a trailer park some of the trailers are only leasing the land I pay all school taxes since I own the land and I also live in the park so who gets the check then all of the homeowners who do not pay the taxes or me the land owner ? I think you can guess what I think should happen

This had better be something that benefits the seniors in the state of New York !!! Kids haven’t even been on school and I see so many seniors struggling upstate to make ends meet because most of them live on less than 2,000.00 a month after a lifetime of hard work but lived their whole lives in this high tax satiate so have nothing to show for all their years of hard work. Shame on Néw York !!!

Leave the Star program the way it is. No one trusts Cuomo, when fall comes he’ll claim there’s no money for the star program checks and the seniors will be screwed.

Really, How can you do this to us as prices on increasing. Not only this, but life with technology and going paperless has been costing so much to keep up. Food costs have gone up. There seems to be less and less breaks for having worked and saved from 16 to 71. Help. I dont even qualify for a vaccine appointment. At 71. My Orange county doesn’t offer one. You are adding to the stress now.

Why do you pay taxes for school when your old, retired and waiting to die?? It disgraceful what this state has done to all us old people. If you are 50 and no kids you should not pay school tax at all , but the criminals in this state line there pockets every year. Didn’t you ever wonder , when we vote them in there middle class and give them four years the millionaires ??? WHY were not and I have not submitted this before

That would be so helpful to seniors. Showing seniors who no longer have kids in school a reduction would be so beneficial to keeping seniors in New York

Nys we are already paying lots tax . Landlord have to taxes.water bill . And tenants doesn’t pay rent they live free . What government doing to tenants pay the rent .
