Valued Patients and Community Members:

Hudson Headwaters has received an extra supply of first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from New York State for our clinics next week.

As a result, a limited number of first dose appointments are available for individuals 65 years and older only at the following health centers: 

• Champlain Family Health (Tuesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 4)
• Plattsburgh Family Health (Tuesday, March 2 and Friday, March 5)
• Saranac Lake Family Health (Tuesday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 3)
• Tupper Lake Family Health (Monday, March 1 and Thursday, March 4)

Please click on the link to schedule an appointment. If you receive the message of “No Appointments Available”, the clinic has filled to capacity. Please note that you will also need to travel to the same site in four weeks to receive your second dose. Your second dose appointment will be made for your first dose appointment.

We are working closely with our elected state and federal officials to advocate for more vaccines and are hopeful we will receive increased supplies in the coming weeks. We want nothing more than to vaccinate any person requesting a vaccine, and appreciate your continued patience. Please continue to reference our website for the latest information.

As a New York State resident, you may schedule an appointment at any vaccination site. To find a location and determine your eligibility, we encourage you to use the State’s “Am I Eligible” app or call the New York State Vaccination Hotline at 1-833-NYS-4VAX (1-833-697-4829). Another option is to check with pharmacies near you by calling or visiting their websites.
