Story Update: Route 22 rehabilitation between Peru and Keeseville scheduled to begin Sept. 9
STORY UPDATE 9/8/22 4:40 p.m. The Peru Gazette just received this update from the NYS Department of Transportation (DOT).
“This project will include heater scarification starting 9/12 and lasting for roughly two weeks. Once complete, we will then pave the top course with a expected duration of roughly two weeks. The estimated completion date of all work is 10/1. Variable Message Signs have been deployed alerting travelers of the work.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot vehicle utilizing one-lane alternating traffic. Expect 6 A.M – 6 P.M work Monday – Saturday.
