Clinton Community College Adopts SUNY Military Tuition Rate to Support Service Members
Nov. 11, 2025 – PLATTSBURGH — Clinton Community College is proud to announce its participation in the SUNY Military Tuition Rate initiative, joining select campuses across New York in supporting our nation’s service members, starting in the spring of 2026.
This means Clinton Community College’s tuition per credit hour will not exceed the current federal Military Tuition Assistance rate of $250 per credit hour. Clinton has consistently maintained tuition rates below this cap for military students and remains committed to continuing to do so, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to pursuing higher education.
This special rate applies to active-duty military members, members of the National Guard and members of the Reserves who are enrolled in undergraduate programs. It is available for both in-person and online learning.
“At Clinton Community College, we are deeply committed to serving those who serve our country,” said Acting President Ken Knelly. “By aligning with SUNY’s new Military Tuition Rate, we’re removing financial barriers and opening doors to educational opportunities for our military students, whether they’re learning online or on campus. It is imperative that we work together to ensure their success.”
Interested military members can learn more by contacting the Clinton Community College Admissions Office at admissions@clinton.edu or calling 518-562-4170.
