Doctors Share Healthy Cooking Tips

Plattsburgh, NY – Learning to prepare healthy meals doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive. The University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) Family Medicine Residency will host Cooking with A Doc on Monday, Sept. 14, from 5 to 6:30 pm at 159 Margaret St., Suite 101, offering practical, budget-friendly strategies for healthier eating.
The free community program will show participants how to prepare healthy, affordable meals using simple ingredients and easy-to-follow techniques.
Designed to make healthy eating easier, the interactive event will feature cooking demonstrations, recipe ideas, nutrition education, food samples and practical tips that families can use at home. Participants will learn that preparing nutritious meals does not have to be expensive, complicated or time-consuming.
Additional sessions are planned for Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 14. All are welcome and no registration is required.
