Peru, NY, October 3, 2026 – Assembly Member Michael Cashman Photos and Comments as posted on Facebook – Established in 1833, Forrence Orchards in Peru has been included in the New York State Historic Business Registry. This orchard has spanned generations, producing millions of pounds of apples every year for distribution across the East Coast. While presenting the Historic Business Registry’s certificate to their business, their team gave me a tour of some of their day-to-day operations. As a member of the Assembly’s Agriculture committee, it’s great to see local farms thriving and continuing facility traditions. Congratulations to Forrence Orchards on this recognition.
