Asphalt topcoat laid down at Telegraph Road bridge

The driver said he carried 32 tons of topcoat
Peru, NY – October 8, 2026 – Luck Bros. applied an asphalt topcoat to the Telegraph Road Dry Mill Brook bridge today. The fine asphalt will extend up the hill on both sides of the structure. Unfortunately, the guardrail subcontractor can’t deliver until October 19. The new bridge will hopefully open later that week. The structure’s span exceeds 20 feet, so it qualifies as a bridge, meaning Clinton County will be responsible for its future maintenance.
