Peru, NY, October 29, 2026 – The Peru Fire Station expansion and upgrade is on schedule to be completed next spring. Con Tech Building Systems Foreman Shawn Beaulieu said concrete work is underway, and interior work will begin in about three weeks when the steel-erecting company arrives.
The two bays at the rear of the station remain undisturbed. Those bays have housed two trucks and the ambulance, and the Highway Department garage has also been used for truck storage.
