Friends of Clinton Community College Invited to Nov. 17 Inauguration Fundraiser

‘Evening at Saratoga Race Course’ to celebrate President Ken Knelly’s inauguration and support student success
PLATTSBURGH, November 6, 2026 –  — Friends, alumni, community members and supporters of Clinton Community College are invited to an “Evening at Saratoga Race Course” on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at West Side Ballroom in Plattsburgh as part of the celebration leading up to the inauguration of President Ken Knelly.
The Inauguration Fundraiser will begin at 5 p.m. and offer guests an evening of food and entertainment while supporting Clinton Community College and its students.
The Saratoga-themed fundraiser is one of several events surrounding President Knelly’s inauguration. The inauguration ceremony will be held the following day, Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. at the historic Strand Theatre in Plattsburgh.
The fundraiser offers an opportunity for the community to gather in celebration of the college and its future. Proceeds will support Clinton Community College initiatives and help advance opportunities for student success.
“We’re excited to celebrate both the inauguration of a new president and the many people who make Clinton Community College such a special place,” said Vice President of Institutional Advancement Steven Frederick. “This event will give us an opportunity to gather with supporters, alumni and friends to honor the college’s past, mark this important new chapter and look ahead to a bright future serving students and communities throughout the North Country.”
Guests are encouraged to embrace the Saratoga Race Course theme. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased online at clinton.edu/inauguration or by calling 518-562-4195. Those who are unable to attend but wish to support Clinton Community College may make a gift through the website.
The Inauguration Fundraiser is presented by the George and Shirley Moore Foundation.
