Northway traffic to be rerouted next Monday and Tuesday

Updated 12:02 p.m. June 6, 2011 with a date change

Please be advised that the NYSDOT will be rerouting traffic on I-87 in the area of the County Route 38 (Arthur Road) Bridge on June 8 and June 9 to facilitate demolition of the bridge over I-87.

I-87 southbound will be closed at Arthur Road June 13 during normal daylight hours with traffic rerouted to Route 22 using Exits 34 & 36.
I-87 northbound will be closed at Arthur Road June 14 during normal daylight hours with traffic rerouted to Route 22 using Exits 34 & 36.

This $3.1 million project is replacing the County Route 38 structure over I-87 and is expected to be completed in October 2010.
