Peru, NY – September 24, 2026, 6:54 a.m., Ausable Point Campsite Road.  Josh is 32. He’s been fishing at Ausable Point since he was six and arrived this morning before daybreak. He’s said fish weren’t biting, but just then a perch took his bait.

September 24, 2026 – Our Jamaican friends are busy in this chilly but beautiful weather, with temperatures up to a balmy 40 degrees at 7:30 a.m. Patrick Beckles, Erron Thompson, and Steve Johnson are picking Honeycrisp apples at Forrence Orchards along Barney Downs Road.
