July 24, 2035 – Peru Town Highway personnel were out early this morning putting smooth sloped, paved shoulders on newly paved Telegraph Road. 

On Thursday, July 17, the Peru Highway Department plans to pave Telegraph Road between the Bear Swamp Road and the road closed barrier. Flag personnel will be in place to keep vehicles moving. Work crews will arrive about 6 a.m.

Snow is likely from this evening into tomorrow morning. Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous for portions of northern New York. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
