The ranking comes from niche.com, a website designed to explore and compare places, schools and colleges. Towns are defined as communities with under 100,000 population, with Plattsburgh ranked #7 statewide.

After fighting a fire, volunteer firefighters have to prepare for their next call. This was the scene at the Peru Fire Station last night after the 579 Fuller Road fire. “THANK YOU” DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS!
