All Town of Peru Departments will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, February 7th for mandatory Training at the Peru Fire Department. 

The Town of Peru Tax Collector will be available on Saturday, January 29th at the Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for tax collection purposes only.

Peru Town Supervisor Brandy McDonald notified the Peru Gazette that the town will not hold a Christmas tree lighting ceremony this year. The town’s high COVID-19 rate is the reason. Town employees will simply throw the switch sometime tomorrow.

Based on a directive from the Town Board and the recent Covid-19 outbreak in our town, the decision has been made to cancel the December Zoning Board meeting.
