Absentee Vote Counting is Underway

This was the scene at the Clinton County Board of Elections at 3:45 this afternoon as officials counted absentee ballots. The Peru Town Council seat sought by Republican Donald McBrayer and Democrat Lana Knight is undecided with McBrayer leading by only twelve votes on Election Day. Absentee voters will decide the election.
