Meteorologist John Hart said rainfall in the 24-hour period set a seasonal record. 5.01″ near Speculator,  3.78″ in Tupper Lake, 3.73″, 3.56″ Keene Valley, 3.73″ in Ticonderoga. Snow flurries for a few minutes at 12:15PM in SE Peru…. 34 was the low at 8:00AM. Then temp made it to 39, setting 36-year RECORD LOW “HIGH TEMP” FOR MAY DAY in SE Peru!!! According to my equipment, the temp held at 39 12:15 ’til 2:25, and has dropped to 37 at 8:01PM!
