It passed the New York State Legislature in 2019 and 2021; if a simple majority of voters approve the measure on Nov. 2, it will become enshrined in the state constitution in January.”

“In March 2021, after discovering the campus on Institute Road was filled with toxic chemicals known as PCBs, the high school relocated to an abandoned Macy’s department store in downtown Burlington. They erected classrooms and hung up student artwork, but relics of the Macy’s remain. While there have been plenty of jokes, memes and press coverage, students are facing real challenges attending school in a building that wasn’t intended to be a school.”

North Bend from State Route 22 to TD Bank parking lot will be closed for tomorrow Friday, September 24th @ 7 am til 3 pm to install sewer lines and manholes. TD Bank customers will have to park on State Route 22 and all drive thru customers will only be allowed to exit right onto N Bend.
There will be NO through traffic including Emergency vehicles during that time period.
