Autumn at St. Patrick’s Oratory and Mother Cabrini Shrine

By John T. Ryan

Autumn is a beautiful time of year in the North Country and one of the beautiful places to enjoy autumn is here in Peru.  Peace and beauty are the best words to describe St. Patrick’s Oratory and Mother Cabrini Shrine on the Patent Rd.  A gazebo surrounding the shrine is under construction to protect it from the elements. A short walking trail has been constructed behind the shrine and the tall trees to the east have been cut. The view of the Champlain Valley is overwhelming!  If you haven’t taken time to visit, please do so. Click here to enjoy several photos taken by Roberta Evans.
