Let the Digging Begin

Peru – Construction personnel met behind the Peru Community Church this morning to discuss details of Peru’s sewer upgrade project. On February 8th, the Town approved a $3,727,930 contract with Reifenburg Contracting of Troy, NY. The project will continue throughout the summer. Rifenburg has until June 30, 2022, to complete the project.
 
The Peru Gazette will do its best to inform the public regarding traffic and other disruptions throughout the project.
This project is been planned for about five years.  The impending work covers only a portion of the improvements needed as described in our August 2106 story.
