Community Christmas Tree Lighting Canceled

Peru Town Supervisor Brandy McDonald notified the Peru Gazette that the town will not hold a Christmas tree lighting ceremony this year. The town’s high COVID-19 rate is the reason. Town employees will simply throw the switch sometime tomorrow.
