Crossing North brings its acoustical sounds to Peru on January 9

Crossing North – Click here for a very nice website will be performing at the Peru Community Church Fellowship Center on Friday, January 9, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, $15 for a family. Local homes sales continue to decline

Clinton County existing home sales slowed significantly in November according to figures released Tuesday by the New York State Association of Realtors. Clinton County’s sales were relatively strong through August, but since then they have declined steadily. Median home prices also declined compared to last year. Read more »

Town Board selects its confidential secretary & makes appointments

Teachers & staff show appreciation

(See more photos) Peru Central School Primary and Intermediate School teachers and staff showed their appreciation to the district’s school bus drivers Thursday morning, December 18. They greeted the drivers with home-baked cookies, Christmas carols and warm smiles. Snowflakes fell gently as the drivers pulled up to discharge children and received their Christmas treats.

A huge craft fair is in town today

The St. Augustine’s Christmas Craft Fair (Photos here) is underway today at St. Augustine’s Parish Center. There are almost fifty people displaying their beautiful wares. The St. Vincent De Paul Society also has hundreds of available clothing items. It’s not too late to attend. The fair will close at 3 p.m.
