“Walk of Faith” assists charity and promotes fellowship

More then fifty walkers participated in Peru’s second annual “Walk of Faith” (photos) on Saturday, October 4th. Participants of all ages walked the 7.2 miles from St. Patrick’s Oratory (Mother Cabrini Shrine) on the Patent Road to the St. Augustine’s Parish Center. It was an ecumenical event with Reverend Alan Shnob, Pastor of St. Augustine’s Church, and Reverend Bob Svenson, Pastor of the Peru Community Church, walking together and sharing stories, prayers and hymns.
